Dublin HeartSafe is a community-based initiative promoting Public Access Defibrillation and encouraging Dublin businesses to have a readily available automated external defibrillator (AED) and employees who are trained to use it to provide potentially life-saving interventions in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. 

Dublin HeartSafe partnered with Washington Township Fire Department, the City of Dublin, Ohio and Leadership Dublin to promote placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) in local businesses.

 

Research has shown that survival rates increase for heart attack victims who receive and AED shock within 3 minutes from the time they collapse.  If you have an AED in your business, you could provide a person in cardiac arrest with access to a tool that could save their life.
